Dyno Sheet from March 2005...That's right, 1049 RWHP!
Dyno Sheet from January 2005
January 2005 Dyno Run:
Brent's 1st pull was with 75/85 jets, 16* of total timing and made 709 RWHP and 821 RWTQ at 5000 RPM's. A/F was 11.45, this was a pull to make sure the A/F was safe before they took the motor higher in the RPM's.
Second pull with 75/85 jets, 16* of total timing, it made 845 RWHP and 891 RWTQ at 6000 RPM's. A/F was 11.55
Third pull with 75/91 jets, 16* of total timing, it made 868 RWHP and 911 RWTQ at 6000 RPM's. A/F was 10.70, the motor definitely liked the extra fuel.
Forth pull with 75/91 jets, 20* of total timing, it made 886 RWHP and 916 RWTQ at 6000 RPM's. A/F 11.82, here it liked the fuel and timing change.
Fifth pull with 80/91 jets, 24* of total timing, it made 821 RWHP and 892 RWTQ at 60000 RPM's. A/F 10.26, and here they lost 65 HP from the previous pull due to the additional fuel added to the primary side even though they added 2 more degrees of timing.
Sixth pull with 70/91 jets, 24* of total timing, it made 888 RWHP and 917 RWTQ at 5200 RPM's and he blew number 5 head gasket on that pull and A/F went to 13.8, they were so close to the magic 900 HP. Brent is currently awaiting on a new 88mm turbo to go back to the dyno and go for at least 900-950 RWHP. Stay tuned.
All pulls netted 27.7 psi of boost from a small Precision turbo PT-74, R302 motor, TFS high port heads(ported), F-303 cam, Weiand X-celerator intake(ported), CSU 750 annular carburetor, EV bonnet, Hanger 18 fabrication Air-to-water intercooler and homemade turbo kit.
Brent said that the older version of our EV hat performed flawless. He has the non O-ringed version that requires a gasket but may purchase an O-ringed version for the look of the bonnet without a gasket under it.
